Study on random lasers is important because the lasers can benefit humankind. Random lasers can be used in many fields such as imaging, sensing, optical sources, communications and medical sectors. The profound applications of random lasers are in bio sensing and medical diagnostics where literatures show evidences of detecting cancerous tissues. Thus, these applications indirectly can promote the well-being of humankind. Therefore, it is hoped that readers can gain knowledge in random lasers and apply the knowledge to develop novel application of random lasers.
